Ross Day

Ross Day has dedicated his career to bringing products and services he's passionate about to people with a need, who oftentimes may have never met him. As Vice President of Business Development, he was able to move a woman-owned small business from 11 employees to over 90 people in less than 10 years. One might say that he’s got a passion for sales, however his true passion is solving client problems by connecting the best people and technologies together to build lasting solutions and lifetime relationships.  At 6DOTS, which stands for Six Degrees of Technical Separation, we specialize in finding the best people, best emerging technologies and strategically elevating their products and services into new market spaces.


Rick Day

Rick Day had a distinguished career at the FAA, where as the Deputy COO, he led the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) operations, policies, procedures, and technology integration and played an integral role in deploying  the FAA’s NextGen technology programs into the National Airspace System. 

His role at 6DOTS’ is to consult on successful integrations with federal, state, and local organizations on complex emerging technologies. His primary expertise is in Air Traffic Management, Airspace  Unmanned Aerial Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and other transportation issues. Rick retired from a 35-year career at FAA, served as the Vice President of Transportation Solutions at CSRA, and now consults full0-time.


Steven Cooper

Steven I. Cooper served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the U.S. Department of Commerce from June 2014 to January 2017. As CIO, Cooper served as the Secretary’s principal adviser on Information Technology across Commerce’s 12 bureaus. Cooper also has more than 20 years of private sector experience, including service as Senior Vice President and CIO of the American Red Cross. Cooper was named one of the Top 100 CIO’s in America by CIO Insight.


Barry Davis 

Barry Davis is an experienced Program Manager and Air Traffic Subject Matter Expert, with a demonstrated history of air traffic control and leadership in the aviation and aerospace industry. He possesses strong program and project management experience in Aviation Safety, Government, Airports, ICAO, Flight Planning, and Aeronautics. He is also highly skilled in FAA NextGen activities; Safety Management Systems, and implementation of tools and procedures to reduce risk in the NAS.


Gregg Dvorak

Gregg Dvorak has been leading technical people through mission critical operations for over 20 years as a Senior Executive within the FAA, and as COO of a privately held and eventual PE owned scientific manufacturing and distribution company. Gregg thrives at the intersection of technology and process and has been evolving people, systems, and operations his entire career. Leveraging the relationships built with the FAA and business acumen learned in the private sector, Dvorak is currently engaged in the Advanced Air Mobility space with industry and startups, helping shape the future airspace architecture for this new disruptive form of transportation and bringing unique aircraft and software capability to the ecosystem.
